Anneliese (Ali) Schmidt, CEM

Project Manager and Sr. Scientist

Ali serves as a project manager and lead analyst for government, commercial, and utility clients. Her expertise covers technology evaluation, project performance and economic modeling, site selection and analysis, energy conservation measure (ECM) evaluation, and greenhouse gas (GHG) analysis and verification. She has led dozens of renewable energy feasibility studies, performed due diligence on proposed utility-scale power projects, and provided analytical support for policy initiatives including the New York RPS and RES. Her experience with sustainable energy technologies includes solar, wind, biomass power, CHP, anaerobic digestion, and various biofuel conversion technologies. Recent efforts include supporting clients such as National Grid, NYSERDA and Dominion Energy.
