Colorado Statewide CNG Deployment Strategy Study

ANTARES was contracted by the Colorado Energy Office to develop a natural gas vehicle (NGV) Market Implementation Study that included accurately quantifying the advantages an NGV market could realize, assessing progress in the state’s effort to increase use of natural gas as a transportation fuel, and reviewing the use of specific policy and incentive tools to build the market. Policy makers in Colorado used the study to determine the importance of NGVs and how best to generate a market for them.  The study concluded with an evaluation of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT), along with strategies for overcoming market development barriers.
