Biopower Infrastructure Development, National Renewable Energy Laboratory

ANTARES has developed a deployment scenario, "The Agripower Model," for energy-crop-to-power technologies. This model estimates the Federal investments necessary to develop a market-competitive agripower industry. One layer of this model is dedicated to feedstock production (switchgrass), and is being upgraded to include short rotation woody crops such as poplar and willow. A briefing summarizing the deployment scenario analyses was presented to the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy.
