ANTARES
advises DOE in planning R&D activities and setting
R&D objectives for renewable power technologies
and biomass resource development. ANTARES has prepared
analyses supporting DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency
and Renewable Energy (EERE) efforts to meet requirements
under the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA).
ANTARES advises DOE and EPA on industry trends, market
dynamics, technology innovations and many other factors
that affect the success of the R&D programs. ANTARES
also works with the National Laboratories to improve
model development efforts in order to aid in R&D
planning and strategy development.
Through
a survey/statistical technique called conjoint analysis,
ANTARES has developed a market share of preference simulation
model that enables R&D planners to understand how
various R&D successes would influence consumer acceptance
of distributed generation technologies.
