Our Staff

Our experienced staff includes LEED certified and licensed professional engineers, economists and financial specialists, and environmental and chemical and physical scientists. Our private sector clients include Fortune 500 industrial concerns, project and technology developers, and power companies. Public sector clients include state, regional, county and federal organizations such as DOE, EPA, DOC, USDA, and DOD, and national laboratories such as NREL, Sandia, PNNL and Oak Ridge. International agency clients include US AID and members of the World Bank Group. We currently support NYSERDA by providing guidance for implementing the NY State’s Renewable Portfolio Standard. We are, or have recently been, involved with biomass projects including co-firing willow and woody residues at the Dunkirk Steam Station, management permitting, contracts and engineering support to the Chariton Valley Iowa Switchgrass project; investigations of biomass gasification at Tupper Lake and the Rome NY Industrial Park, and support efforts to market biorefinery products resulting from Levulinic acid production from a pilot facility in Upstate NY.
